2.Background

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has stated that the total amount of statutory benefit (social insurance) and our additional benefits should cover your base salary up to a limit of 85% of the base salary. We noticed our benefits have been beyond that. Therefore, we are afraid but we decided to decrease our benefits to comply with the standard.

Note 2) Announcement was by the MHLW notice from “Health Insurance Association Business Operation Guidelines” (partially amended at notification from No. 1222-4, December 22, 2021, as the attachment 2), based on the notification from the Health Insurance Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, No. 0201001 titled “Business Operation of Health Insurance Association” issued on February 1, 2007.)
